Error 4004 when opening ProFile

When Online Sync has been enabled and an online account hasn't been set up, when ProFile is opened a 4004 error will occur.


Next to the Search box is the Cloud icon. If the Cloud icon is green, then it has been enabled.

If you are not using ProFile's online services, then it is okay to disable ProFile Online Sync:

  1. Left-click on the green Cloud icon to disable it.
  2. It will then change colour to grey with a red X.

This will stop ProFile from trying to connect to the Cloud, and will prevent the 4004 error.
