When trying to create a ProFile Account, users may experience an error stating that the account is already in use by another account or that the account has not been set up for password reset.
To reset a password, visit ProFile Review Sign In
- Enter the email used for ProFile Review, and click on the "Forgot password?" option
- Re-enter the email and click on "Reset Password".
- The reset option by using the security question will display:
- If the security question cannot be answered, contact us at 1-800-452-9970
If the error persists, try using a "throw away" password such as Intuit123 and then test the account creation. If successful, change the password to something more secure.
