Retrieve the "EFILE this T1013 for..." warning

Note: For tax year 2019 and forward, preparers should use the Consent Authorization request or Business Consent Cancellation request form for EFILE. Review the current method of EFILE, or read about the change on the CRA website.

Resolution

  1. Exit ProFile.
  2. Click the Windows Start button in the lower-left corner. In the search bar, type regedit and press the Enter key. The Registry Editor window displays.
  3. Select Export from the File menu in the Registry Editor.
  4. Save a backup copy of the registry to your desktop.
  5. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareGreenPointProFileEFILE in the Registry Editor:

6. Double-click on the file ShowEFILET1013Warning.
7. Set the value data to 0 and click OK.

When you return to ProFile, the warning dialogue should be resolved.
