Forms T2201 and TP752.0.14 removed from the T1/TP1 module
by Intuit• Updated 1 year ago
Forms T2201 and TP752.0.14 have been removed from ProFile with release 2023.0.0 and going forward.
This removal was based on the following criteria:
• low usage of these forms in ProFile
• new digital processes for these forms adopted by the CRA
• the forms had no impact to the calculations in the T1/TP1 tax return. The only input required by the accountant was the taxpayer’s name, SIN, and address. The accountant would then print the form for the taxpayer to take to their medical practitioner.
T2201 form process
With CRA's new digital process, the form is now submitted to the medical practitioner electronically
and the form is then submitted automatically to CRA once Part B is completed. If paper filing is the method of choice, the form is printed from the CRA website.
Submission information can be found on the CRA website.
TP752.0.14 form process (Quebec)
There are no changes for the TP750.0.14 form. The form may be accessed with instructions from the Revenue Quebec website.
