Complete returns for non-residents in ProFile

ProFile includes T1 returns for non-residents. For example, the T1159 form is the tax return for non-residents filing under section 216.

Use the following steps on the Info form:

1. For the province of residence, select Non-resident S.216.
2. Form T1159 displays instead of the usual T1 jacket in the Form Explorer once you have indicated Non-resident S.216.

Note: If the T1 jacket is already open in the Edit window, close the form using the key.

In this client file, the T1159 will open whenever you enter T1 in the Form Explorer.

When you select a non-resident status on the Info page, ProFile displays the required jacket in the Form Explorer and in the Edit window.
