T1 EFILE error code 43

Preparers may encounter EFILE error code 43 when selecting “Last name changed in 2023” and trying to EFILE.
To clear the error, the preparer indicates the answer CRA is expecting for "Last name changed in 2023?"
If the client’s last name doesn't align with the information on CRA’s records, the preparer may encounter EFILE error 43 which asks for “2” as the surname change code.
To enter “2” as the surname change code, the preparer needs to answer “Yes” to the question “Last name changed in 2023?”:
