Receiving a blank EFILE session window at the end of the EFILE session

When trying to EFILE, the EFILE session window is blank.

Note: the EFILE Status may change in the Monitor.

Resolution

  1. Exit ProFile and go to Control Panel > Internet Options.
  2. Click Advanced > Security.
  3. Check the boxes for Use SSL 2.0 and Use SSL 3.0 TLS 1.0, 1.1 & 1.2.
  4. Ensure the pop-up blocker is turned off by going to Privacy and unchecking Turn off pop-up blocker.
  5. Clear cache and cookies by going to General > Delete.
  6. Ensure that only Preserve Favourites... and Cookies and website data are checked. Everything else should be unchecked.
  7. Go to Privacy > Advanced and check Override auto cookie handling. Make sure both columns are set to Accept and that Always allow session cookies is also checked.
  8. Check the proxy settings by going to Connections > Advanced and unchecking Use proxy server...
  9. On Internet Explorer, go to Tools in the menu bar, then go to Compatibility View Setting and check Display all websites in Compatibility View
  10. Check for .NET 3.5 and Windows updates.
  11. Reboot the machine.
