Select files for batch filing
- Set up a Client Explorer database in ProFile (Related article: How to enable the Client Explorer database).
- Choose individual files to batch file and select the Build EFILE… option.
The EFILE Session window displays.
Transmitting batch files
- Make sure that the correct files are present.
- Select OK. The returns transmit.
The confirmation message displays.
Print transmission results
ProFile users can print the EFILE session (a snapshot of the transmission results window) or the EFILE report (a detailed report of the transmission).
ProFile users can save the EFILE session printout as a PDF.
Print the EFILE session printout
- Select Print on the confirmation message, the Print window will display.
- Select Print. A copy of the EFILE session report prints to your default printer.
Print the EFILE report
- Select OK on the confirmation message, and the EFILE Report window appears.
- Select the Print Session Log checkbox.
- Select Print. A hard copy of the EFILE report will print to the default printer.
Creating a PDF of EFILE session printout
- Select Print on the confirmation message. The Print window will display.
- Select your PDF printing option (for example, PDF Creator) in the Select Printer section of the window.
- Select Print, and then Save As.
- Next, select the folder or location in which the PDF will save.
- Designate a file name in the File name: field.
- Select the option PDF Files (*.pdf) in the Save as type: field.
- Select Save. A PDF copy of the EFILE session printout is saved to the designated folder or location.
Manage rejected batch filings
A rejected filing displays an error message in red text.
To solve this, do the following:
- Review the EFILE errors.
- Adjust the files in the batch or the EFILE settings as needed.
- Retransmit the batch files.
