Cannot import from Cantax in ProFile (T1, T2, and FX)

A current year's Cantax file cannot be imported into ProFile. However, a previous year's return in the T1, T2 and FX module can be carried forward into ProFile, the same way a ProFile file would.

Resolution

1. In ProFile, select Carry Forward from the File drop-down menu in the top toolbar.
2. In the Carry forward file window, select the year and module the file was created in.
3. Verify the file's location using the Look In drop-down menu.
4. At the bottom of the window, ensure the value Files of type is set to Cantax, and the correct version the file was created in Cantax.
5. Select the file and click Carry forward.
