Mark a client as "Done" in Intuit Link

When a client has fulfilled all the requests of an accountant, they may be marked as Done in Intuit Link. In this article, we'll show you how to:

Mark a client as Done

  1. Locate and sign in to the Intuit Link site.
  2. Select the Clients link on the left-side menu. The list of clients will display.
  1. Identify the client whose status is to be marked Done.
  1. Select the Review option arrow in the Actions column of the client. A list of options displays.
  1. Select the Mark done option.

The client's updated TYXX PROGRESS status shows the client has been marked done.

Change a client from Done to Undone

  1. Navigate and log on to the Intuit Link site.
  2. Select the Clients link on the left-side menu. The list of clients displays.
  1. Find the client whose status needs to be set to Undone.
  1. Select the Review option arrow in the Actions column of the client. A list of options will display.
  1. Select the Mark undone option.

The client's updated TYXX PROGRESS status shows the client is active.

Note: Marking the client as Done doesn't lock requests on the taxpayer portal. Check the box in the Lock column to lock a request so the taxpayer can't make changes to their response.
