
CO-17 prints or is receiving EFILE error 13961

Resolution
Delete and reinstall the PDF printer:
- Quit ProFile along with other Intuit software.
- Click the Windows Start icon on the bottom-left corner of the desktop screen. Select Control Panel and click View devices and printers.
- Right-click on the ProFile PDF Export printer and select Remove device.
- Right-click on the desktop ProFile icon on the desktop. Select Open file location; the ProFile folder displays its contents.
- Open the ProFile PDF Export folder.
- Right-click on the Install.exe file; select Run as administrator.
- Click the OK button after the ProFile reinstall completes.
Check the port settings
- Exit ProFile if it is running.
- Click the Windows Start icon on the bottom-left corner of the desktop screen. Select Control Panel and select View devices and printers.
- Right-click on the ProFile PDF Export printer and select Printer properties.
- Select the Ports tab from the top tab menu.
- In the Ports tab, ensure that the Port selected is the NUL port, and that no other printer is sharing that port.
- Delete any other printers sharing this port or move them to a different port.
- Click the OK button.
- Open ProFile and proceed.
