ProFile is not printing jackets, forms, or schedules correctly
by Intuit• Updated 1 year ago
Description
When printing a return from ProFile, some Forms, Schedules or Jackets are missing a page or not printing correctly.
How to correct print settings in ProFile:
In ProFile, go to File > Print Setup.
- If the previous year's settings are working, then select the previous module and check the following settings; Margins, Font Scaling, Position, and duplexing.
- Make sure the settings are the same for the current year.
- Usually, selecting Always Use Default Windows Printer, and selecting from Positioning and duplexing: Centre Horizontally, Size to fit page, and Use printer duplex settings, may resolve most issues.
Adjust font scaling
You may also be able to resolve the issue by adjusting your font scaling.
- With the T1 tab selected, select Manual under Font Scaling.
- Adjust the percentage to 95% If this fails, you may then try adjusting to 90%. You can attempt a few percentages.
- Adjust for all applicable categories; T1 Jacket, TP1 Jacket, etc.
- Attempt to print. You may have to try a few percentages in Font Scaling and try again.
Keep Confirm auto font scale changes checked.
