Transmit RL-16 slips to Revenu Québec

Beginning with ProFile version 2021.3.0, preparers can now electronically transmit RL-16 slips. This only applies to files completed in the 2021 module and later.

Steps for transmission

  1. Go to EFILE > Options. In the T3/FX section, and then select Transmitter. Make sure the Name and Quebec Transmitter Number are filled in.

  1. If slips are ready to transmit, go to EFILE and select Transmit Slips. The slip filing window appears.

  1. Select data type from Data Type dropdown box, and then select OK. If there are no errors, the slips will be transmitted to Revenu Québec.
  2. In ProFile Hub, you will be able to see the status of the RL-16. Double-clicking the status will give you the confirmation number or the error code.

Tip: You can also see the confirmation number on the Info page of the T3 in the Québec confirmation numbers section.
