Security changes: Identity verification
by Intuit• Updated 2 weeks ago
If someone has your password, they can access your account and make unauthorized changes. This is why we've enhanced our security by adding multi-factor authentication. We want to make sure it's really you and keep unauthorized people out.
This extra security means that when you log in, you may be asked to enter a one-time confirmation code. This code can be sent to your email or mobile device.
When signing into your Intuit Account, there will be a prompt to verify your identity via multi-factor authentication (MFA).
To verify your account credentials:
- Sign in to your Intuit account.

- Confirm your account information via text or email. You will need to enter a 6-digit code.

- Select your account, and then select your business.

- When you get to the screen that reads, Success! You're All Set, select Finish.
