Resolving activation errors in TurboTax Business Incorporated

Customers may encounter errors that prevent the activation of TurboTax Business Incorporated (TTBInc).

These errors include 603, 606, and 607.

Error 603: All available activations for that code have been used

Error 603 occurs when a license has previously been activated or used. The error reads:

“All available activations for that code have been used. Error code: 603”

Activities that contribute to using a license include:

• Filing a return
• Installing TurboTax Business Inc. on a new computer
• A clean reinstallation of the software

Error 606: License code is not valid for the product you are trying to activate

Error code 606 occurs when a user attempts to activate a license in the wrong software.
Every year of TurboTax Business Incorporated has an end date range in which a return can be created and filed. TurboTax Business Inc 2023 allows for the creation and filing of a return with a fiscal end date between November 1, 2023 and October 31, 2024.

An example of this would be activating a 2022 license in the 2023 software, or vice versa. The error reads:

“License code is not valid for the product you are trying to activate. Error code: 606”

Ensure you’re entering the correct license in the correct software. Confirm the year of the software you purchased and ensure that under Help -> About in TurboTax Business Incorporated that the version year matches the year that you purchased.

Error 607: The license code you entered is not valid

Error code 607 occurs when you have entered an incorrect license. The error reads:

“The licence code you entered is not valide. Error code: 607”

A TurboTax Business Incorporated license is a 16-digit alphanumeric code. Error code 607 occurs when there are missing or incorrect numbers or letters in the code.

Ensure that you are entering your code correctly and submit again.
