“Failed to initiate transaction” error message when attempting to EFILE

TurboTax Business Incorporated users who have not yet updated their TurboTax Business Incorporated to the latest version will encounter a Failed to initiate transaction error message when attempting to EFILE.

Resolution

TTBInc users must update to the latest version in order to file their 20XX tax year return online.  Also, all audit messages should be resolved before EFILING.

To update to the latest version, visit the TTBInc website and download the latest installer directly from the site.
