“Failed to initiate transaction” error message when attempting to EFILE

TTBInc users who have not yet updated their version of TurboTax Business Incorporated to 2019.3.0 or later will encounter a Failed to initiate transaction error message when attempting to EFILE.



TTBInc users must update to version 2019.3.0 or later in order to file their 2019 return online. To update to the latest version, visit the TTBInc website and download the latest installer directly from the site.
