I get an error message in ProFile when I try to open a file

Description

If one of the following error messages displays when you open a file, it could mean the file is corrupted. You may not be able to retrieve the file.

  • Stream read error
  • Range check error
  • Out of memory while expanding memory stream

Resolution

  1. Go to Options > Environment > File.
  2. Select File Verification.
  3. If this option is already checked, you may be able to recover your file.
