ProFile icons or Tooltips don't display in Windows Explorer 64-bit
by Intuit• Updated 1 year ago
ProFile icons or Tooltips not displaying in Windows Explorer 64-bit can happen because the GPShell.dll file is a 32-bit DLL, and Windows Explorer is a 64-bit application that is looking at the 64-bit registry for the icon information.
To resolve the issue, modify the ProReg.exe file to register the GPShell in the registry redirector so that Windows Explorer 64-bit can read the GPShell information.
