Recover your account when you can't sign in

If you forgot your user ID or password, here’s how to get into your account and back to business as usual quickly.

Important: Since your ProFile account is connected to all of your Intuit products, this resets your information for all the products tied to your account.



Get help if you can't sign into ProFile features

You have forgotten your password or received the message "Hmm. That didn't work" when logging into Intuit online account.Review our support article to recover your password.
You have lost or forgot your user ID and password and no longer have access to your phone or email on file.For your security, only you can make changes to your Intuit Account. Our support team doesn't have access to update or modify your account information:

1. Take a high-quality photo or scan of your driver's license, state ID, passport, or notarized document.

2. Fill out the account recovery form with your information and upload your ID or document.

Look for an email from no_response@intuit.com within one business day. If we approve your request, you'll receive a link to reset your password.
