Clean uninstall a Workstation installation

This article includes instructions for clean uninstalling ProFile on a network Workstation installation. For instructions on how to clean uninstall ProFile on a local installation, see here.

  1. If possible, open ProFile on the workstation, remove the license, and exit ProFile.
  2. Delete the ProFile icon on the desktop.
  3. Navigate to the Registry Editor and then to HKEY_CURRENT_USER>SOFTWARE and rename GreenPoint (if present).
  4. Navigate to location C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming (where is the customer’s user name) and rename the GreenPoint and ProFile folders.
  5. Navigate to location C:\Users\\AppData\Local and rename the GreenPoint folder.
  6. Navigate to location C:\ProgramData and rename the GreenPoint folder (if present).
  7. Restart the computer.
  8. Reinstall the workstation installation.
