Receiving error 1797 when installing the Amyuni PDF printer

The following error displays when installing the Amyuni PDF printer in ProFile:


  1. Open the command prompt.
  2. Enter pnputil -e.
  3. Search for all Amyuni products in the results:
  1. Delete all Amyuni Document Converter *.inf files, by using the command " pnputil -f -d oemNNN.inf".
  2. Where "NNN" is replaced by the value displayed by the pnputil -e command, e.g., using the above picture," pnputil -f -d oemNNN.inf" becomes:      

    pnputil -f -d oem165.inf      
    pnputil -f -d oem159.inf
    Note: Each *.inf item must be removed individually.
  3. Return to the directory C: Program Files (x86) ProFileProFile PDF Export.
  4. Install the Amyuni printer driver as administrator.
