Error RC530 when EFILEing the T1PAD form

Users are unable to EFILE the T1PAD form. Instead, error RC530 displays.

Workaround

1. Uncheck the Pay in full checkbox on the T1 PAD form.
2. Manually enter the full amount of calculated tax with only two decimal points of value.

For example, if the calculated tax amount is $2017.1234, manually enter the amount as $2017.13, rounding up to the nearest cent.

Note: The CRA requires that the payment date for PAD cannot be a past date, or a holiday or weekend date; it must be a future weekday (e.g., non-holiday Monday-Friday).
