Option to EFILE a return not available under the EFILE menu

If the option to EFILE a return is not available under the EFILE menu, check the license and ensure that the license supports the tax year of the return. Check the ProFile version under Online and Check for Updates... and ensure that ProFile is up to date.

The option to EFILE a return in the T1 module is not available under the EFILE menu

Depending of the tax year, the option to EFILE this return may not be available, as those returns must be paper filed as per the CRA's requirements.

If the option under the EFILE menu to EFILE a return is not available (and your version ProFile is up to date) it may be that electronic filing is not yet supported by the CRA for the current year. Electronic filing will be available in a future software release.

The option to Internet file a slip in the FX module is not available under the EFILE menu

In the FX module, confirm that Are you magnetic media or internet filing slips? option on the Information page is set to Yes.
