As a convenience, Intuit is offering you the opportunity to pay for your ProFile fees over time in our Flexible Payment Plan. If you select to pay using the Flexible Payment Plan, you agree to the following terms and conditions that supplement the terms of the ProFile End User License Agreement (the “Agreement”). All capitalized terms not defined below are defined in the Agreement. If you do not agree to these Supplemental Terms & Conditions, then you may not participate in the Flexible Payment Plan.
If you choose a Flexible Payment Plan, your first payment installment will be made at time of order and remaining payment installments will be made each month until paid in full. Payment installments are calculated by the total order amount and divided by the number of months through February 8th, or before EFILE open date. Installment payments will be charged (i) on the same day of the month as your order date and (ii) to the credit card provided at time of order. Purchases made between the 1st and 8th of a month will require an extra installment payment due in February (see schedule here and in your order receipt). All payments (including applicable sales tax) due are in Canadian dollars.
If you fail to make any payment installment timely or fail to pay in full by EFILE open date, Intuit may exercise one or more of the following remedies: (i) terminate the Agreement upon notice to Licensee; (ii) recover from Licensee an amount equal to all accrued and unpaid fees; (iii) demand that Licensee cease use of or uninstall all copies of the Licensed Programs; (iv) prohibit access and terminate functionality to the ProFile product; and/or (v) pursue any other remedy available under the Agreement or at law or in equity. If a payment attempt is unsuccessful, we may retry your credit card at a future date(s) to collect one or multiple payments.
If you choose to cancel your order under the Flexible Payment Plan in accordance with our standard refund policy, your first installment payment (including applicable sales taxes) will be refunded. Your order will be canceled and all ProFile software license codes will be deactivated. If you choose to cancel your order 14 days after receiving the ProFile product, you will not be refunded any installment payments that you have already made.
